The Deep Emerald look is a sultry twist on the classic smoky eye using deep green and red hues to mimic the sun setting through a rainforest.

Step 1: Create Your Base Colour

Apply the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunrise all over the lid, focusing on the inner corner of the eyes using the Base Shadow Brush. This will brighten your eyes and intensify the colour of other eyeshadow shades used on top. It also creates a velvety finish to allow you to seamlessly blend your eyeshadows together. This step is optional, so if you prefer a darker emerald, simply skip this step.

Step 2: Contour The Eyes

Using the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Palm with the Blending Brush, start applying this shade to the middle of your eyelid blending into the outer corner of your eyes to enhance your eye shape. Dip your brush into the eyeshadow one more time to go over the crease to deepen your eyes, blending back and forth for a smoky effect.

Step 3: Hints Of Red

Dip the Smudge Brush  into the Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadow in Sunset  and apply this to the lower lashline starting from the outer corner of your eye towards the middle of your lower lashline like you would with an eyeliner. Blend a hint of this colour onto the lid towards the outer corner of your eyes to intensify the look.

Step 4: Line The Eyes

Taking the Contour Eye Pencil in Black, line the upper lashline focusing on the outer corner of your eyes to give the illusion of fuller lashes.

Step 5: A Few Coats To Go

Finish the look with a few coats of the Allure Defining Mascara in Black. This will give you intensified, lengthened and separated lashes in an instant while your lashes remain soft and flexible without any flaking.

Don’t forget to complete the look with a neutral flower crown or fascinator, wispy waves and an emerald dress.
