Nude by Nature (NBN): We'd love to hear more about your personal story and journey. How did you start out in the fitspo/wellness publishing business, and also your love of yoga and exercise, and how that came about.

BiancaBefore Sporteluxe was born, I was very into my fashion and fitness blogs and I especially loved to read Elin Kling's blog every single day. I loved her style and everything she wrote about. She really inspired me to create my own blog. I also loved fitness, nutrition, and activewear. But I could never find a blog that fused all my passions of fashion, health, and wellness together. That's when I thought to start my own blog, creating my own content. And thus, Sporteluxe was born in December 2012.

NBNFocusing on health and wellbeing is so important for us all. Do you have any favourite tips you can share to support people in their own personal journeys?

BiancaI never sweat the small stuff, and I always think that there’s someone in the world who’s way worse off than me. I try to think of everything as a learning curve. 'Hey it happened' - so what do we do about it, rather than cry over spilt milk. A wise friend once said to me, take control of the situation. So I do!

My friends and family all think of me as a chill pill whenever I hang out with them. They say that somehow my energy always makes them feel so calm and relaxed. I think it’s a skill that my Mum taught me when I was a kid. So I now carry that across into my business life, and it’s definitely a skill that has helped me get through some super tough times.

NBN: When it comes to beauty, what do you think are a couple of the most important products that every woman should own?

BiancaMoisturiser and blush. My skin is quite pale, so I always tend to pop a bit of apricot blush and a rich moisturiser to add a bit of colour. Otherwise I look sick!

NBN: Can you share which Nude by Nature products are your favourites.

BiancaThe Flawless Concealer. It’s just the right coverage, and it doesn’t crease under my eyes by the end of the day!

NBN: What are a couple of your top beauty hacks?

Bianca: An express shiatsu facial. It’s a facial massage that utlises the pressure points in the face. It promotes circulation and also induces calmness. I do one every morning after my shower, with a super rich moisturiser. It’s probably why I’m so calm at work every day!

NBN: It seems like you definitely have the travel bug! What are a couple of your most loved destinations - that you always enjoy going back to?

Bianca: I absolutely LOVE: The Amalfi Coast - who doesn’t right? Whistler — it's the best place for a skiing holiday, and those turquoise blue glaciers and rivers, just WOW! Plus the Whitsundays — I always say that Australia has some of the best places in the world to visit, and the Whitsundays is one of them.

NBN: How about any places that you’ve heard about, and you’re super keen to visit for the first time?

BiancaGreece and France are on the list for sure. I haven’t had a chance to get there yet - but I will soon!

NBN: You split your time between Sydney and LA. Have you got any ‘must do’s’ for both cities, that visitors should definitely head to?

BiancaLA is the wellness capital of the WORLD, so expect to see lots of vegan and organic cafes, and fast food. There are so many! There’s a place called Erewhon where E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G is organic, or vegan, or paleo, or made with collagen and turmeric! It’s AH-MAZING, but expensive.

As for somewhere to visit, I always say Malibu Farm Cafe at Malibu Pier is a must-visit for sunset drinks, and a cauliflower based pizza.

When it comes to Sydney, I always love Bread and Circus in Alexandria, or Porch and Parlour at Bondi Beach.

NBN: What are your key objectives and plans for the next 12 months?

BiancaTo build out the Sporteluxe platform, and to continue to inspire and support our community of wellness devotees with the proper education and advice that they need to become the best versions of themselves.

NBN: Final question! Do you have a favourite quote or phrase that motivates and inspires you in your daily life?

BiancaYep. Your health is your greatest wealth!
